Road and Off-Road Motorcycle Tyres
Wemoto lists a wide choice of branded motorcycle tyres including:
- Vee Rubber
- Pirelli
- Kyoto
- Maxxis
- Heidenau
- Kings
- Bridgestone
- Metzler
- Dunlop
- Continental
- Avon
Road tyres are designed for tarmac, often using hardwearing rubber in the centre of the tyre for longer life, with softer rubber towards the edge for increased grip when cornering. Trail tyres are built for optimal grip and shock absorption in mud and sand.

A wide range of motorcycle inner tubes
Conventional motorcycle tyres are 'tubed tyres' – the air is contained in a separate inner tube that can be replaced independently of the tyre. If the inner tube is punctured, the deflation will be immediate from multiple exits around the tyre, as the surrounding tyre is not airtight.
Motorcycle inner tubes must be matched to the tyre by size – Wemoto stocks inner tubes from 7 inches to 21 inches, and with straight or angled valves. Heavy duty motorcycle inner tubes are ideal for off-road machines where the tyres are subject to more impact – however the thicker material suffers from higher temperatures during prolonged, high-speed running so regular inner tubes are generally recommended for road use.
Scooter inner tubes and tyres
Scooter inner tubes and tyres are usually between 10 and 16 inches in diameter but otherwise are very similar to motorcycle road tyres and motorcycle inner tubes.
Scooter inner tubes and tyres are usually designed with the commuter in mind. Longevity and wet-weather grip are a priority over speed performance. As many scooters are speed-restricted, tyres designed specifically for the scooter market may be of a lower speed rating than the same size motorcycle tyre.
In addition to motorcycle, off-road and scooter inner tubes and tyres, Wemoto also stock the tyre tools to fit and maintain them.
