SAT 28TH & SUN 29TH OCTOBER 2023

The National Motorcycle Museum LIVE is back in October after its success last year. It is a two day event and visitors can get in free to see a host of free attractions like Henry Cole and Friends live on stage and lots more (Note car parking is £15 for the day but motorbikes park free).

Rachel Clegg Meets
One of the new events for 2023 is ‘Rachel Clegg Meets’ in which Rachel Clegg, TT expert, artist and journalist, well known for her TT Milestones calendar and book, will be hosting racing stars past and present. As well as this event, Rachel will be presenting Meet the Experts Live in the food court at lunchtime on Saturday and Sunday, which will include a chance for questions from the public. Saturday’s expert will be Brian Crighton, Norton’s Rotary Race Guru and Sunday will be the Museum Restoration team – sounds interesting.

Start Up Live
One of the fun events is Start Up Live where some of the most famous race machines in the world will be started up, to give spectators a chance to hear them in their full glory on the main stage in the Britannia Suite.

Allen Millyard will be firing up his land speed record Viper V10 and the Motorbike Show’s Suzuki GT750.

Henry Cole and Friends LIVE
The feature presentation will be Henry Cole and Steve Plater hosting popular motorcycle personalities like Guy ‘Skid’ Willison, Fuzz Townsend and Allen Millyard.

Also on the Saturday, John McGuinness, Mick Grant and Steve Parrish will be talking about TTs past and present and the Sunday will feature OMG racing’s Kyle Ryde, Ryan Vickers and James Hillier.

As well as the events, there will be an indoor trade stand area and free guided tours of the museum to show off the interesting historic machines exhibited. Sounds like a fun weekend to brighten October up.
